A demonstration explaining how forests depend on climatic conditions and potential implications for forest management. We will explain why forests are important, and the challenges that climate change are posing over these complex ecosystems. We will provide an easy exercise for the participant to identify the most benign growth conditions and discuss how forest management can be used to ameliorate the negative impacts of climate change.
