About me

I am a professor and researcher in the Ecology and Forest Restoration group and the Environmental Remote Sensing Research Group at the University of Alcalá. My research focuses on the effects of climate change, land use changes, and diversity on forest functioning. To this end, I combine different data sources and modeling techniques to help understand the mechanisms underlying space and time patterns and propose appropriate measures for forest management and adaptation in the current context of global change.
In my free time, I devote myself to my family and friends, who sometimes join me in my other outdoor and sports hobbies.
