My name is Cristina, and I hold a degree in Biology from the University of Alcalá, with a Master's in Ecology from the Universidad Autómoma de Madrid and the Complutense University. I am pursuing a PhD in the fields of Macroecology and Biogeography. I am interested in biodiversity patterns across large areas, species modeling, and the ecological factors that limit them. Currently, I am working with forest inventories from Europe and North America, which raises questions related to forest ecology, carbon sinks, management, and global change. Additionally, I love conveying scientific knowledge graphically, creating beautiful and attractive figures.
