PlazaScience

PlazaScience es el primer mapamundi digital de las instituciones científicas donde estudiantes, profesores, investigadores y todos aquellos aficionados a la ciencia y a la fotografía pueden geoposicionar sus imágenes y componer una cartografía compartida del saber y del hacer científico. Esta herramienta es una proyecto de la Fundación madri+d y está financiado por la Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología-Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad.

Madrid: Ciencia y Ciudad a principios del siglo XX

Sobre un mapa de Madrid de 1901 (Leipzig: Wagner & Debes) se sitúan más de 50 instituciones y laboratorios activos en Madrid en el cambio del siglo XIX al XX. De cada uno de ellos se ofrece una breve descripción y una selección de fotografías, de época y recientes, sobre el edificio y su entorno.
