About me

Dr. Herrera-Quintana graduated in Pharmacy and in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, with a master’s degree in human nutrition and a PhD in Human Nutrition and Food Sciences. She obtained a predoctoral FPU Grant/contract (Spanish Ministry of Education) and carried out international research stays/mobilities for a length of 8 months, at Mendel University (Brno, Czech Republic) and University of Florida (Gainesville, USA). She has participated in national and international courses, congresses, and dissemination activities. She has co-authored more than 30 publications in indexed journals, collaborating in different research lines mainly focused on the risk of malnutrition and related disorders. Currently, she has joined the Cellular and Molecular Gerontology Lab (Precision Nutrition and Aging group) at IMDEA Nutrition Institute as a postdoctoral researcher.
