The skin is the largest organ of the human body, but the molecular mechanisms that regulate its proper organization are still poorly understood. In this talk you will learn more about why it is important to take care of it and the importance of having a scientific model to study it. In fact, we will talk about a scientific project of great interest for reconstructive medicine, because it aims to understand the signals related to the maintenance and regeneration of the skin. In this sense, we will talk about hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as a very important molecule in this field and you will see 2D and 3D models that we are working on. This activity is carried out in the framework of a research project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 framework program through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (GA 101111496). This work is also supported through an R&D project awarded to Iria Medraño-Fernandez (PID2020-114230 GA-I00) funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades (10.13039/501100011033/).
