About me
I am a fourth-year PhD student at the Center for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO) at CEU San Pablo University. My academic and research journey began at CEU San Pablo University, where I studied Pharmacy and Biotechnology and participated as undergrad trainee in the parasitology and immunology research group. This solid foundation in biological and chemical sciences has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of biochemical processes and their application in biomedical research.
My research focuses on the study of lipids using various advanced analytical techniques, such as liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. These tools allow me to analyze lipids in different pathophysiological situations, ranging from dementias to fungal infections like aspergillosis, in order to find specific biomarkers that help us understand and diagnose these diseases.
Outside the lab, I enjoy reading, cooking, and arts and crafts, activities that allow me to relax and express my creativity. Additionally, I love spending time outdoors, especially by the sea, and cherishing moments shared with my family.
