Jara Pérez Jiménez is a tenured scientist at the Institute of Food Science, Technology and Nutrition (ICTAN-CSIC), in Madrid and is a member of the Network on Biomedical Research on Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases (CIBERDEM). Her research, focused on the study of dietary bioactive compounds, have given place to more than 100 scientific articles. Since 2018, she is a member of the Teófilo Hernando Young Researchers Forum at the Spanish Royal National Academy of Medicine.
