About me

Associate Professor in Library and Information Science at Universidad Europea. Accredited as Associate Professor with two recognized research periods. PhD with European Mention from the University of Salamanca. Holds degrees in Documentation and in Spanish Philology from the University of Salamanca, as well as a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Menéndez Pelayo International University.

She is a member of the following research groups: (GIR) E-LECTRA: Electronic Publishing and Reading, Transfer and Automated Information Retrieval (USAL), and [SUADE] Rhetoric in the Media of the Digital Society (UE). She is also the Principal Investigator of the UEM research group: Education and Critical Thinking: The Challenge of Integrating Them into Student Training.

She teaches courses on applied documentation and social research methodology at Universidad Europea de Madrid, as well as Spanish language and Spanish for foreigners.

Her research interests include reading, information sources, and educational innovation.

She also worked as a documentalist for three years in various libraries and documentation and research centers.

She greatly enjoys skiing, swimming, traveling, and walking in the countryside.
