Associate Professor at UPM, PhD in Telecommunications (2003). His research focuses on distributed generation, e-mobility, and smart grids, leading more than 40 R&D&I projects, including 2 at the European level, and authoring over 40 articles and 10 books. An IEEE Senior Member, he served as Chair of the IEEE Spain Section (2018–2019) and has coordinated education and innovation initiatives in energy and mobility.
