Kun Chen Hu received his Ph.D. in Multimedia and Communications in 2019 and his degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2012, both from Carlos III University of Madrid. Currently, he works as a researcher at the same institution, where he is involved in research projects focused on signal processing for 5G and 6G. He has collaborated with prestigious international researchers in both academia and industry. His research interests are extensive, ranging from the design of multi-carrier waveforms and efficient channel estimation for coherent detection, to multi-antenna techniques, joint communication and sensing, and quantum communications.

On a personal note, he is passionate about tennis and travel. He actively plays tennis in his free time, both on and off campus. Annually, he explores various parts of the world for both work and leisure, having visited countries such as China, South Africa, Canada, and Japan, among others.
