Hello! I'm Claire Montserrat Ayala Chancay, a Research Assistant in the Advanced Porous Materials Unit at the IMDEA Energy Institute.
My work focuses on developing advanced porous materials (MOFs) designed to cross biological barriers such as the blood–brain barrier. The goal: to deliver drugs precisely to the brain and other areas of the body, opening up new possibilities for treating complex diseases.
When I'm not in the lab, I love spending time with friends, doing sport, and, of course, travelling whenever I can!
