Degree and PhD in Geological Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. My research career has been focused on stone materials (natural, such as rocks, or artificial, such as bricks) of cultural heritage, both in terms of their analysis as causes and processes of deterioration and their conservation and restoration. She is currently participating in the European project: Sustainable COnservation and REstoration of built cultural heritage-SCORE, H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020 (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange).
