I studied Biology at the University of Bristol, UK. After finishing my degree, I did a master's degree in Agroforestry Biotechnology at the UPM, which allowed me to do an internship at the CIB-CSIC in the Plant-Virus-Vector Interactions group, with Dr. Tomás Canto. Currently, I am doing my thesis at the CIB-CSIC, in the Gene Regulation and Stress group, with Dr. César Llave. Here I am researching antiviral defence mechanisms in plants.
