Beatriz de Lucas Moreno

Associate Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Sports at the European University of Madrid.
She holds a degree in Health Biology from the University of Alcalá and a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine and a Master's degree in Secondary Education Teacher Training, both from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She completed her doctoral thesis in the group of Dr. Beatriz G. Gálvez, funded by the University Teacher Training Grant (FPU), on the study of mesenchymal precursor migration, obtaining the highest grade, Cum Laude, along with the International Doctoral Mention, at the European University of Madrid. She continued as a Postdoctoral Researcher with a contract subsidized by the Autonomous Community of Madrid and the European Social Fund to conduct her research in the MASmicrobiota group of Dr. Mar Larrosa, to which she remains affiliated. Since 2020, she has combined her research with teaching. She teaches various subjects in the field of basic and biomedical sciences across several undergraduate programs (Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, etc.). She holds the ANECA (National Association of Medical Research) certification as a Contract Professor. To date, she has authored more than twenty publications with significant impact indices, participated in various competitive projects, participated in national and international conferences, and is involved in scientific outreach activities.
