Vanesa Mercedes Fernández Pastrana is a final year PhD student and associate professor at CEU San Pablo University. After graduating in Genetics from the Faculty of Medicine, she completed a pre-doctoral stay at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, acquiring advanced experience in bacterial identification.
