The Laboratory technicians will show different tools for the microplastics detection in environmental samples.
The participants will be able to do the extraction of microplastics from contaminated sea water and beach sand samples by using specific filtration systems as sieves of different sizes and filter plates, and then watch them under the microscope.
Activity carried out in collaboration with the following projects and grants:
- Project “Plastic chemical additive release from plastic debris and their mobility in soil agroecosystems (AddiPlaS)”, Grant PID2022-140011OB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF A way of making Europe.
- REMOTE project. Project SPIP2024-03303 has been supported by the Autonomous National Parks Agency.
- European Union – Next Generation EU, through the Investigo Programme, within the framework of the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility.
