Gabriela Ágreda López
About me
Hi! My name is Gabriela Ágreda López, I am a Colombian biologist from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Master of Science, biology from Uppsala University. I am a predoctoral student from IMDEA water. I have worked with marine phytoplankton communities and freshwater communities from boreal ecosystems. I am interested in the ecology of autotrophic organisms and their vulnerability to climate change. In particular, the impact of anthropogenic activities that is affecting physically the aquatic ecosystems and the phytoplankton communities within. Right now, I am a part of the REMOTE project under the supervision of Dr. Paula Redondo Hasselerharm. In my free time I lode to hike, swim and bake.
