I have a degree in Biology and a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine. Currently I work doing investigation in the group of Systems Biochemistry of Bacterial Division at the CIB Margarita Salas, where I carried out my doctoral thesis as well. The research developed by the group aims at understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in the organization of the bacterial division machinery through biochemical, biophysical and bottom-up reconstitution methods.
