Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP) (UPM-CSIC/INIA). Graduate in Biology and Master’s in Biotechnology with a specialization in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Córdoba. PhD Cum Laude with international distinction from the Technical University of Madrid. My research focuses on the plant immune system, identifying elements that regulate its activation and process immune signaling. Specifically, I study the role of a negative regulatory protein in immune responses and the activation of immunity through cell wall–derived components. I am passionate about science communication and, whenever possible, I dedicate time to sharing my research and scientific advances on social media.
