About me

PhD and Engineer in Materials Science, since 2017, I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at INTA (National Institute of Aerospace Technology) in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) under the MSCA (Marie Sklodowska Curie Action) programme.
My area of research focuses on the resistance of metallic materials in different environments and the synergistic effects between mechanical and chemical stresses. Specifically, I study why and how metals degrade in specific environments (water, salt, extreme temperatures, with or without mechanical stress) and how to prevent such degradation.

I love art and in my free time I'm trying to write a book, I usually read, practise digital art and play the guitar. I also like travelling, discovering new cultures and doing sports. I especially enjoy badminton, swimming and cycling.
