Rubén is a telecommunications engineer currently pursuing a PhD at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications. He grew up in Madrid, where he studied his bachelor’s in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), degree he completed in 2021. In 2024, he finished a double-degree program for the master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering (MUIT) between UPM and Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH). From June 2023 to June 2024, he worked as a research intern at Ericsson Research, in the field of indoor localization using 5G signals. His current research focus is multi-antenna communication, especially in the absence of a reliable channel estimation process. Rubén spends most of his free time with his family and friends, he also enjoys playing video games. He also is a very sportive person, who specially enjoys contact sports, several of which he has practiced as an amateur.
