Clara I. Martínez Cantón, a professor of Literary Theory, researches the relationships between poetry and music from the perspective of intermediality. Her work focuses on the ways in which meter, rhythm, and orality transform the links between text and sound. She currently co-directs the PoeMAS project, which explores the role of poetic musicalizations in the literary system.
