Tenured Professor of History of Education at UNED. He holds a PhD in History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2016), specializing in Medieval History. He has also worked as a school teacher and Professor at the University of Piura (Peru), between 2017 and 2021. He has participated in three Research projects. His main fields of research are the education in the Middle Ages and the Early Modern period, with a particular focus on political education in Late Medieval Castile (13th–15th centuries) and the education and evangelization in the Viceroyalty of Peru (16th–18th centuries).
