I am an Associate Professor of Ancient History at the UAM, and my research focuses on North Africa in Antiquity. I have a strong interest in archaeology, classical reception, and historiography.

Over the years, I have worked in cultural management, as a museum tecnician, as well as in public outreach, publishing, and other related areas. All of these activities share a common goal: to ensure that academic knowledge does not remain confined within the walls of the university.

Part of my academic career has taken place in international research centers (in Germany, France, Italy, among others), which has greatly enriched my understanding of different ways of doing science and scholarship.
