About me
My research focuses on the study of ferrocene macromolecules with silicon and/or sulfur, which act as photocatalytic materials in environmental applications, such as the purification of contaminated water. In terms of teaching innovation, I hold the degree: Expert in University Teaching Methodology (TEMDU) from the UAM, and have coordinated various projects aimed at improving the teaching of chemistry students at this university, introducing them to 3D molecules and X-ray diffraction. I also actively participate in science outreach activities, such as the Madrid Science Fair, European Researchers' Night, and workshops for various projects aimed at bringing chemistry and crystallography closer to primary and secondary school students. Among my “less scientific” hobbies are reading, cinema, theater, traveling, and the countryside.
