I am a Research Fellow at the UAM. I have worked at six different institutions in several countries (Italy, Australia, and Spain), pursuing a research goal: understanding and harnessing the physical phenomena that arise from the confinement of 2D and nanoscale materials. I specialize in the growth of ultrathin films of new materials and the study of their properties using atomic-precision microscopes.
