Mar Solís is a sculptor with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1997, she has held solo exhibitions at institutions such as the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, IVAM, the Frost Art Museum (Miami), and the Sívori Museum (Buenos Aires). Her work is included in prominent collections such as BBVA, IVAM, the Masaveu Foundation, and the Spanish Ministry of the Environment. She has received awards like Generación 2003 (Caja Madrid), the Ojo Crítico Award from RNE, and the First Prize at the Caja de Extremadura International Sculpture Competition. Her public art can be found in Spain, Finland, and South Korea. She currently teaches Fine Arts and Design at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV).
