Collaborating Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the USP-CEU. Degree in Pharmacy from the Complutense University of Madrid. She obtained her PhD at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the USP-CEU and made a postdoctoral stay in the research group “INFLAVAS”, Department of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAM, thanks to the obtaining of two postdoctoral contracts (Margarita Salas and Juan de la cierva). She is currently a researcher in the area of cardiovascular pathophysiology and pharmacology as part of the “MET-VASC” group. A multidisciplinary group, composed of basic researchers from different areas, specialized in the study of pathophysiology, vascular consequences and the search for new treatments against metabolic diseases.
Passionate about science and convinced that outreach and education are fundamental pillars to bring knowledge to society and encourage scientific vocations.
