We celebrate 11F# International Day of Women and Girls in Science by bringing to IES Las Rozas I Isabel Adrados' career, Assistant Professor at the Department of Anatomy and Embryology of the Complutense University of Madrid. Isabel Adrados obtained her PhD in 2014 at the Institute of Biomedical Research of Madrid and she has researched the role of a transcription factor called SIX1, crucial for embryogenesis as a regulator of cellular senescence, a process related to cellular ageing and cancer. His current research focuses on clinical anatomy and molecular embryology.
