About me
Several decades have passed since I graduated in Biology (specializing in Zoology) from the Complutense University of Madrid. After graduating I participated in projects related to the study of birds, amphibians and, of course, insects. These activities led me to visit many places of our geography and enjoy natural environments now virtually unrecognizable.
My professional career finally led me to work in the Entomology collection of the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC), where I am currently the curator in charge. The work I do consists of managing, maintaining and conserving the best collection of insects in our country, as well as solving the many scientific and technical queries that are received and tutoring trainees. So said, it seems monotonous and boring, but nothing could be further from the truth.
And in my scarce free time, I enjoy the company of my friends and continue to enjoy nature.
