About me

I am a researcher at the Department of Evolutionary Ecology of the National Museum of Natural Sciences - CSIC. I finished my PhD at the Complutense University (2012) and, since then, I have had the opportunity to work in several countries (Spain, Sweden, Argentina or Hungary), which has allowed me to meet wonderful people and enrich myself both personally and scientifically. I study behavioural ecology, mainly in birds, where my main line of research focuses on the field of sexual selection and mechanisms of adaptation to climate change.
I love to experiment, to travel; be it short or long trips, to the countryside, to the beach, and if it is to get to know new cultures or to share with my family, even better. I also love cooking, even if my guests don't always agree with the final result. Sport, when I can, which unfortunately is not as often as I would like.
