Romina Daiana Fernández
About me
I studied for a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the National University of Tucumán, Argentina, and later completed my doctoral thesis at the Regional Ecology Institute (IER), which is part of the National University of Tucumán and the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). Currently, I am on my third research stay at the University of Alcalá, while awaiting my appointment as a CONICET researcher at IER. My research interests focus on the ecology of biological invasions, primarily plants. Outside of academia, I enjoy nature walks, mountain hiking, reading, playing ping-pong, traveling, and exploring different cultures.
