I am Mireia Mestre, Ramón y Cajal researcher at the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC).
I am currently studying microorganisms in natural environments, especially in the marine environment and in Antarctica. I also do research on microorganisms associated with wild animals.
My favourite hobbies are nature activities, but I also enjoy activities such as reading.
