Minerva Martínez Castillo
About me
Hello! I'm Minerva. I studied a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Granada, and due to my interest in the origin and evolution of diseases (especially neurological ones) as well as potential treatment targets, I pursued a Master's in Pharmacological Research at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I am currently working at Fundación CIEN (Center for Research on Neurological Diseases) and am a predoctoral student. My research focuses on the study of extracellular vesicles and their content as potential biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, Alzheimer's disease, or frontotemporal dementia.
I love traveling and spending afternoons with friends playing board games. In my free time, I listen to music, dance, read, and build Legos.
