The activity consists of 2 practical workshops (30 minutes each) and 1 talk-workshop. Total: 2 hours.
1- HAVE YOU EVER SEEN YOUR DNA?: DNA extraction from saliva, following a protocol with biochemical bases of each step, with accessible material.
2- PLACE LUCK SKYWALKER IN HIS FAMILY (FAMILY TREES): creating family trees of famous families, such as Star Wars or Game of Thrones. They will also work with a clinical family tree and create their own.
Talk-workshop: GENETICS IN HISTORY AND ART, TO THE PRESENT DAYS, with a review of the best-known people who had a described genetic disease.
