Carmen Millá Pardo

About me

PhD student in the Bionanomechanics group at the CSIC's Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology, where I am conducting my doctoral thesis on the detection of mechanical vibrations in microorganisms. The research group specializes in nanomechanical spectrometry applied to the detection and identification of pathogens, the observation of mechanical vibrations in biological organisms, and the analysis of the mechanical properties of cells in relation to cancer.

Beyond my work in the lab, I enjoy spending my free time doing ballet, watching good movies, and immersing myself in reading. Additionally, traveling is one of my great passions, as I love discovering different cultures and flavors around the world.
