About me

I studied Biomedical engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where I also worked for two years as an assistant research technician. During this time, I completed a remote masters degree in bioinformatics and biostatistics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering and industrial organization working in the Multi Bio Structures group. During this time, I am taking part in the ERC project 4D-Biomap, which focuses on the activation of cellular functions through mechanical stimulation using smart materials, which in this case are magnetoactive hydrogels and elastomers. When I am not in the lab, I like to spend time with my friends, play tennis and go on hikes with my dog.
