Andrea Ianiro is a full professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He received his PhD degree in aerospace engineering from the Universitá degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in 2012. His research focuses on the experimental study of turbulent flows with and without heat transfer. He often makes use of statistical and artificial intelligence tools to interpret the complex data obtained in the experiments. Andrea is currently principal investigator of several projects, mostly focused on the prediction and control of turbulent flows. In his free time he enjoys reading, outdoor sports (and sometimes in the gym) and good food. He also loves anime.
