Alicia Rodríguez Asensio
About me
Alicia Rodríguez Asensio is a pre-doctoral researcher in the Experimental Aerodynamics and Propulsion group of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). She graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2022, but continued her master's studies at UC3M as an aeronautical engineer. Her research focuses on the search for reduced-order models of turbulent and complex flows in order to simplify the aerodynamic analysis. This makes it possible to control and reduce the drag forces suffered by moving bodies, improving the efficiency of air transport. Outside of academia, her hobbies include music, sports and exploring nature, as well as enjoying the company of her cat Pimienta.
