Antonio Serrano Salces
About me
Doctor in Biology by the Technische Universität Braunschweg (Braunschweig, Germany) in 2019.
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the team of “Cell Biology of Plant Resilience” at the Center for
Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (UPM-INIA/CSIC). I investigate the role of the cell wall in the
interaction of plants with microbes, specifically soilborne pathogens, that cause agrifood and
economic losses in our crops. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, doing sports, and reading.
