PhD in Biology (UPM, 1994). Researcher of the Symbiotic Associations Group of the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics UPM-INIA/CSIC and Professor of Microbiology of the ETS Agronomic, Food and Biosystems Engineering of the UPM. I study soil bacteria called rhizobia able to associate symbiotically with legumes by yielding fixed nitrogen from the air. I enjoy traveling, disseminating, archaeology and history.
