About me
Biotechnologist graduated from the University of Zaragoza, I studied the Master in Microbiology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Currently, I am doing my PhD thesis at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas-Margarita Salas (CIB-CSIC), in the Microbial Systems and Protein Engineering group since January 2022. My study focuses on the transformation of plant residues into value-added products through the use of genetically modified fungi and bacteria. In addition to research I am very interested in everything related to science outreach, so I participate in projects such as Micromundo, which seeks to awaken scientific vocations in high school students by conducting experiments in the classroom and also raise awareness about the global health problem that is the increase of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. In my free time I like to do all kinds of sports.
