Graduate in Biology from the University of Alcalá (UAH) and Master in Microbiology and Parasitology: R&D from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), during which time I enjoyed a JAE-Intro grant. I am currently an FPU predoctoral researcher, developing my thesis for the UCM at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas (CSIC), in the group of Biotechnology of Polymers. My work focuses on the study and characterization of efficient biological catalysts (microorganisms, enzymes) capable of degrading bioplastics, especially polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs). Outside the lab, I like to travel, play video games, practice sports, and spend time in nature.
