Ana María Hernández Arriaga
About me
Postdoctoral researcher in the Polymer Biotechnology group at the Center for Biological Research CIB-CSIC-Margarita Salas. I did my PhD at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), in the Department of Genetics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Microbiology. Later I was a postdoctoral researcher in various projects related to obtaining biological systems that would act as an alternative to antibiotics. Currently, I am working on designing and producing antimicrobial proteins that will be used for the functionalization of biomaterials obtained in our laboratory. I like to play sports, travel, and meet friends to chat.
