Hi! I'm Óscar, a first year PhD student in Condensed Matter Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I graduated in Physics at the University of Valencia (2023) and did my master's degree in Condensed Matter Physics at the Autonomous University of Madrid (2024). My research is based on the use of the tunneling microscope to study materials at the atomic level. In particular, I focus on superconducting materials and their vortices. In my free time I like to play videogames, read anything I can get my hands on, cook (with results of very different quality) and hang out with my friends.
