Silvia Martínez Pérez
About me
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a PhD in Environmental Sciences. I was trained at the University of Alcalá, where I am now a Tenured Professor. My entire teaching and research career is related to the role of water in the environment. I teach at the Faculty of Sciences, covering subjects like Hydrology and Natural Resources Management (Water and Soil) in the Environmental Sciences program. I am the Coordinator of the Water, Climate, and Environment Research Group, leading research on the relationship between surface and groundwater, natural water quality, and water resource quantification.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, and enjoying good times with friends.
