The ten centers of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) located around the Cantoblanco Campus are joining forces once again to bring the best science to the streets in a large-scale event to be held at Espacio Fundación Telefónica. The European Researchers' Night 2024 will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, in the heart of Madrid. Here is all the information you need. In the morning: Science fair for Primary, Secondary, and High School From 11 AM to 1:30 PM, we will host a large science fair at Espacio Fundación Telefónica: we will have our famous 'Science Cart', explore the secrets of glass and ceramics, discover the surprising world of superconductivity, play with catalysts, hydrogen fuel cells, and the periodic table, and experience firsthand the antioxidant power of fruits. Of course, our Escape Road will also be there: searching for Nobel and non-Nobel women. In this scavenger hunt, students will have fun while learning the names, works, and stories of great women scientists from around the world. Applications for spots will open on September 16 at 9 AM: there will be 40 spaces for Primary and 80 for Secondary (3rd-year ESO to High School).
