Professor in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at CEU San Pablo University. Her teaching work focuses on the Design of Periodicals. Her research work has been developed around the Design of newspapers and magazines and Typography. She has two six-year research periods (CNEAI) and has supervised 13 doctoral theses (another 4 in progress). She has published more than forty articles in scientific journals, 7 books and as many book chapters. In university management, she has been Director of the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising (2015-2019), Secretary of the same (2007-2015) and Director of the Research Support Service of the Audiovisual Center of the Faculty of Humanities and Communication Sciences (SAI-CA). She is principal investigator of the consolidated research group ICOIDI.

She loves photography, jazz, rain and taking typographic walks.
