About me

 Fernanda Rey-Stolle is full professor and researcher at San Pablo CEU University since 1994. She graduated with honours in Chemistry, specialising in Physical Chemistry from the UCM in 1990, also winning the First National Prize. She obtained her PhD in 1993 thanks to a PhD scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education. In 1992 she started working as an assistant professor of Instrumental Techniques at the School of Forestry Engineers of the UPM, moving to San Pablo CEU University in 1994. She has, therefore, 29 years of teaching and research experience at the San Pablo CEU University in Madrid (Spain). Promotions: September 10th, 2008 to Senior Lecturer and June 14th, 2023 to Full Professor.

In her teaching role she is deeply interested in teaching innovation where she has won several awards. She is also involved in the use of new technologies, being a member of the group of digital ambassadors of the University who are teachers who pave the way for their colleagues to improve learning and student outcomes.

Her research has covered different fields such as Chemical-Physical Properties of Polymers, Chemical-Physical study of the Intercalation Process in DNA; Biomaterials or Computational Simulations in Biological System. Since 2013 he has been a member of CEMBIO (Centre of Excellence in Metabolomics and Bioanalysis), focusing his research on the application of the GC/MS technique to metabolomic studies. She has participated in 16 Research Projects and/or Contracts, in 2 of them as Principal Investigator. She is co-author of 54 scientific articles published in national and international journals. She has presented more than 50 oral communications and posters at international conferences. She has been a member of the scientific/organising committee of 12 international and national conferences.
